In Pakistan, an average of 11 children were abused every day in 2023, yet many lacked the knowledge to recognise or report unsafe touch.

EBM, UNICEF and UN Women turned everyday schoolbook covers into tools for child protection. Inspired by local folk art, the covers illustrated safe and unsafe touch and offered children a discreet way to signal abuse to parents and teachers. The designs also became classroom posters, helping teachers start essential conversations about safety.
